„In the middle of nowhere – in Russia“ with a KAMAZ . Maybe 6 years ago, we faked a photo with my body. As I’ve seen the Kamaz at Heinz-shop (MMS) – that’s it ! Paris/Dakar! Everybody say – no! Those day we are sitting in a beer-garden and had an „special model building meeting“ ;-). One of the guy announced – maybe some of the modeler in eastern Europe will build it! OK! I tell the friends – now I designed myself like the faked photo. Laughter!!! An old Italeri frame and crane, KFS wheels and front axle, from A&N the cab and bumper, Styropor, colours and glue. The story from the diorama: The KAMAZ is slipped on a slope, the thawed ground and as a result of the load the truck got caught. A reporter, who was sitting in the truck, sized the initiative and made the ultimative record. To got the Kamaz afloat, I had act as an towing service. The pictures are transmitted via radio, to the right, on a woodenbox – projector. Which projected on the screen. Why must model construction be always only high technical? It‘ s also a funny. Regards from Austria, Gerhard Doppelhofer
